Hi, I’m Tk,
I am a certified Master Automotive Technician and Diesel specialist and a certified Automotive Expert. I am also Mobile Air Conditioning Society Certified.
Among other jobs, I’ve worked as a Dodge Viper Specialist, a Dodge/Cummins Diesel Specialist and a pit mechanic on dirt bikes. In total I have 30 plus years experience as a professional mechanic.
After working for others I felt the need to expand my horizons and work for myself for while. So I opened my own garage. I’ve had my auto repair shop for eight years and had several people working for me as well.
I’ve always had high values, as a mechanic and as a shop owner; I tried to be a liaison between the technical world of automobiles and the lament world. I’ve always been honest and I wanted people to be comfortable so I tried to explain a lot to make them understand what I did to their vehicles. My motto was (and still is) everyone is someone’s family; I don’t want someone ripping off my family, so I won’t do that to somebody else’s.
Start 2009 I said goodbye to my garage because I got a job offer as a College Diesel Instructor. Since I love to talk (especially about cars and mechanics) and I wanted a change, I’ve happily accepted that offer. Now I try to give back those values in ‘raising’ honest mechanics 
Because I would still like to help others with their cars and mechanics, and because I love to jabber jaw, I decided to start a blog. Here I write whatever comes to mind about cars and other mechanics, so maybe something will be of use to someone out there. I also created an opportunity for people to ask me specific questions, for anyone who needs help or is just curious about something.
Besides mechanics I will also talk about cars and driving them in general, because why have a blog about cars that does not talk about the cars?? I drive a Subaru WRX, I really love to drive it and I won’t mind talking about that!
